-At Rise we have added year 9 to the KS4 stages. The students study the 5 core subjects English.

-math, chemistry, physics and biology. This prepares the students for their extended exams in KS4, and they become accustomed to the format of the exams and the way the subjects are presented.

  • The American Section

-Since we at RISE believe that students should have the freedom of choice when it comes to their high school education, we have provided them with the liberty to obtain the American High School Diploma which allows the students various opportunities to get higher scores by focusing on projects and presentations in addition to exams.

-The main concern of the American section at RISE is to foster an environment where all students are given an opportunity to learn in a highly engaging learning environment that values individual growth, daily success, and positive relationships. The purpose of the American High School Diploma Program at Renaissance International School of Egypt is to prepare students to continue their education at university level and to become thoughtful, creative, caring and healthy individuals.

-RISE is accredited by Cognia. The American School curriculum is based entirely on the US curriculum; from grade 9 to grade 12; however, Arabic, Religion, and Social Studies in Arabic classes are offered according to the Egyptian Ministry of Education requirements. The school curriculum is aligned with the Common Core State Standards. These standards have been adopted to suit the needs of universities, both locally and internationally.

-We understand the concern some parents may have regarding the External Standardized Examinations that American Diploma learners need in order to join universities; thus, the school prepares them for the different exams through special test preparation classes for the SAT, ACT, and EST exams. We do so by focusing on increasing the vocabulary of our students and training them how to answer the various vocabulary questions in each test. We also train them how to answer all sections while being timed which is the essence of all American assessments and exams.  When providing our students with the practice they need to master the SAT, ACT, and EST we stress the need of identifying the different learning styles of each student, and we cater for the different learners’ needs. We also providing a Progression Growth Test that assesses the students’ performance externally.

-Students are supported by a huge range of co-curricular activities that ensure they have the opportunity to develop fully as individuals. Personalized instruction is geared towards inquiry-based, hands-on teaching methods, and world class learning strategies.

-Benefits:

  • Wide range of courses and subjects designed to produce well-rounded students.
  • Focus on helping students discover the subjects where they excel and make the most of their talents.
  • Preparing students for university and beyond by promoting creativity, critical thinking, and social skills.
