Lower Secondary Curriculum

Years 7 & 8 :

During these years the school aims to build skills, knowledge and understanding in the key areas of English, Mathematics and Science. In English we prepare our students for the higher level of education whether American High school diploma or the IGCSE with a centre of attention being on IGSCE. We also focus on laying the groundwork for our students to enable them to do well in the checkpoint exam for year 8 which helps them to develop the skills needed to respond to a range of information, media and texts. The programme promotes active learning, develops thinking skills and encourages intellectual engagement. The subjects covered are English, Math, Science, ICT starters, Global perspectives in addition to P.E and Music.
