Primary Curriculum

By offering Cambridge Primary, RISE provides a broad and balanced education for our learners, helping them to thrive throughout their schooling, work and life with plenty of opportunities to develop creativity, expression and wellbeing in a variety of ways.

The curriculum focuses on how to teach the students to express what they have understood rather than what they have memorised, and this paves the way for them to excel in their IGCSE studies.

A great importance is placed on developing the writing skills of our students as we at RISE know the importance of being able to express one’s understanding of a subject through writing especially that IGCSE exams include essays in most subjects.

The primary curriculum follows a holistic inquiry-based approach. The Primary Learning Programme is designed to ensure that our students feel supported, challenged, and inspired as well as being provided with chances to find out their learning styles and develop them. They are shown how to set their targets with the guidance of our Leader Learner Profile

Students are supported as they boost their self-esteem and self-confidence by learning how to accept and deal with both success and failure as a natural part of growing up and learning.
